The Oppo Find X3 Pro looks to be a dangerous competitor to the Samsung Galaxy S21 and OnePlus 9, which will be released in a few months The camera bump, however, is entirely subtle
Images and specs posted on Evan Blass' Voice page reveal a few key details about Oppo's new flagship
It's hard not to notice the bump on the phone's rear camera Its square shape is reminiscent of the iPhone 12 However, Oppo has made the bump gradually emerge from the back, rather than making it a flat 90-degree edge
This is a unique look, and the black, white, and blue color options and bronze-colored leather back version fit well with the sleek design But if you prefer a more orthodox style, like the Galaxy S20 or iPhone 12, I don't blame you
The cameras also look interesting, especially the "microscopic" macro camera, which is said to be capable of up to 25x zoom There are also two 50MP cameras on the back; Blass does not say what function these sensors will perform, but given the previous Find X2 Pro, these will likely be the main sensor and an ultrawide sensor
According to leaked information, the S21 Ultra has a 108MP main sensor, but none of the other sensors are larger than 12MP, and the dual-zoom camera only supports 3x and 10x optical zoom
On the front, we see a curved display with a punch-hole selfie camera; the Find X3 Pro appears to have a 67-inch QHD panel with an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz The refresh rate and resolution are the same as the 68-inch Galaxy S21 Ultra, but better than the 62-inch Galaxy S21 and 67-inch Galaxy S21 Plus FHD displays
As for charging, the Find X3 Pro has both wired and wireless high-speed options When plugged into a wall outlet, it offers the same 65W charging speed as the OnePlus 8T and 40W wireless charging the OnePlus 9 is also expected to use 65W wired charging, but only 30W wireless charging like the OnePlus 8 Pro as for the S21, the entire series maximum output is expected to be 25W, which is made more difficult by the fact that Samsung is likely not bundling a charger this time around
According to Blass, the release date is "late March/early April"; since the Galaxy S21 launch event is tomorrow (January 14), the Galaxy S21 will already be available by then, and the OnePlus 9 is expected by mid-March
In other words, Oppo's smartphone may arrive a little later than its biggest competitor for a spot on the best Android phone list, but the leaked specs so far may mean that the Find X3 Pro is worth the wait
