Consumer electronics manufacturer Asus accidentally leaked the existence of the Nvidia RTX 3080 Ti, which is rumored to be released in February after the Chinese New Year
Two SKUs were listed on Asus' website: the ROG-STRIX-RTX3080TI-O20G-GAMING and the ROG-STRIX-RTX3080TI-20G-GAMING rog-strix-rtx3080ti o20g-gaming and the ROG-STRIX-RTX3080TI-20G-GAMING Similar to previous rumors and leaks, the 3080 Ti sits between the 3080 and 3090 in terms of memory: the 3080 offers 10GB of GDDR6X RAM, the 3090 offers 24GB, the 3080 Ti offers 20GB, the 3080 Ti offers 20GB, and the 3080 Ti offers 20GB [At this time, pricing for the 3080 Ti has not been determined; given that the 3080 sells for $700 and the 3090 for $1500, the 3080 Ti will probably hover around $1000 Given the high demand for both cards, Nvidia could charge more, but with AMD's Radeon RX 6900 XT holding firm at the $999 price point, the green team is unlikely to stray too far off course
The Asus leak also revealed the rumored RTX 3060 12GB, a direct competitor to AMD's Radeon RX 6700 XT 12GB; the 3060 12GB is expected to launch in January
In the fall, Nvidia announced the GeForce RTX 3000 series, with the RTX 3080 garnering the most interest because of its ability to deliver 4K graphics for under $1,000 As a result, the GeForce RTX 3080 is hard to find, and gamers are buying this graphics card whenever it is in stock
Hopefully, the arrival of the Nvidia RTX 3080 Ti will soon create another option
