Samsung Galaxy S21 reality image just leaked - here's your first look

Real images of two Samsung Galaxy S21 models show what Samsung's next flagship phone will look like outside of renderings

The images were provided by YouTuber sakitech, who apparently obtained the photos from an anonymous source As far as we can tell, this may be the first real image of these phones made public

The video shows the Galaxy S21 Ultra on the left and the S21 Plus on the right Immediately, one can see that there is a significant difference in the size of the camera bumps Both are curved to the left, perhaps the most unique part of the Galaxy S21 design

Specifically, the 68-inch S21 Ultra will have a 108MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and two 10MP telephoto cameras (one with 10x zoom and the other with 3x zoom) It will also have a laser autofocus sensor like the one used in the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra

The Galaxy S21 Plus has three cameras: a 12MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a 64MP 3x zoom telephoto camera This is essentially the same setup as the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20 Plus However, SakiTech claims that the S21 will offer slightly better performance, but does not say how The basic S21 is not featured in this video, but it is mentioned We expect it to feature the same triple camera array as the 67" S21 Plus, but with a smaller 62" frame

We have heard that the Galaxy S21 will be released in January, and sakitech has repeated its claim that January 14 is a candidate date for the next Samsung Unpacked reveal event It is said that pre-orders will open on the same date

There is also good news about the S21's price: as sakitech mentions, we expect Samsung to price the S21 series slightly lower than the S20 series According to one rumor we have seen, the S21 price could be as much as $150 less than the equivalent S20 model

Other important details rumored about the S21 series concern the display and internal components all three models will support a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz, but the S21 and S21 Plus will have a lower resolution than FHD+ the S21 Ultra will instead QHD+ resolution and uses LTPO technology that allows the refresh rate to be reduced to 1 Hz to save battery power when a higher refresh rate is not needed

When it comes to batteries, the Galaxy S21, S21 Plus, and S21 Ultra use 4,000 mAh, 4,800 mAh, and 5,000 mAh cells, respectively The base and ultra models are the same size as the S20, but the S21 Plus has an increased capacity of 4,500 mAh

The S21 series will come with one of two chipsets, depending on where they are purchased In the US, it should be powered by the new 5nm Snapdragon 888 chipset, while users in the UK and around the world should receive Samsung's own Exynos 2100 silicon

We won't know if these leaks are accurate until January arrives But taking in the specs as they are, Samsung has some impressive hardware on the way And that's just what it needs to fight back against other Android rivals like Apple's superior iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro, or the OnePlus 8T
