Now that the OnePlus 8T is out in the world, OnePlus can shift its focus to other things Like the long-awaited OnePlus Nord N10 5G, rumored to be added to the OnePlus Nord series and to be released in the US
OnePlus has yet to do any sort of teasing of its own, but one leaked sketch indicates that it will probably be a carbon copy of the original of the Nord will not be a carbon copy of the Nord In fact, it will likely take design cues from the OnePlus 8T
The leak itself comes from longtime OnePlus leaker Max J, who posted a sketch of the OnePlus Nord N10 design The design includes the more rectangular camera array seen on the OnePlus 8T
The original OnePlus Nord had a vertical camera system, more similar to that found on the Huawei P30 Pro than anything OnePlus had produced before However, that design appears to be replaced by the 8T's more compact rectangular camera design
The reasons for this are not entirely clear Design synergies are one obvious guess, as is the fact that the range of camera lenses in a single vertical row is limited Especially when using ultra-wide angle lenses, beyond a certain point, they may be accidentally covered by the hand
There is not much else that can be read from this image, but one might be able to see the dark blue hue of the Nord N10 5G from the shadowing However, that is not guaranteed
The OnePlus Nord N10 5G is expected to arrive later this year, first in the US before launching in the rest of North America According to rumors, it is expected to feature a Snapdragon 690 chipset, 5G, a 649-inch display with a 90 Hz refresh rate, 6 GB of RAM, and 128 GB of storage It is also said to have a four-lens rear camera system that includes a 64MP main lens, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and two 2MP sensors
All of that is supposed to come in under $400, making it an attractive purchase for those looking for a new mid-range phone We know very little about the N100, assuming they don't want a budget priced N100
