The Apple Watch 6 and the new iPhone 12 make a surprise appearance in a Target ad
Spotted by a 9to5Mac reader, Target accidentally released a seemingly incomplete print ad that mentions the new Apple Watch and new iPhone The ad included a placeholder image, pricing, and instructions to designers to replace the official renderings when they become available
The photo next to the Apple Watch 6 text in the lower left is of an Apple Watch 5 on a fabric strap; the iPhone section is the same, with images of the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, and iPhone SE images
The Apple Watch 6 is expected to debut tomorrow, September 15, along with the iPad Air 4 The iPhone 12, however, will not be fully revealed until October, given production delays
Nevertheless, with rumors that iPhone details may be revealed at the September 15 event, Target thought it wise to prepare for a possible reveal
While the Apple Watch 5 was only a modest upgrade to the Apple Watch Series 4, the Apple Watch 6 will be very different The Digital Crown control method of operation on the casing will be eliminated and an optical sensor is believed to be adopted, while the Watch's sensor array will be greatly enhanced in the form of an SpO2 sensor that will track the user's blood oxygen level
Thanks to many detailed rumors, we know even more about the iPhone 12 This year's lineup will apparently consist of four models, available in 54-inch, 61-inch, and 67-inch sizes The basic iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Max will feature an OLED display, A14 Bionic chipset, 5G connectivity, and dual main/ultra-wide cameras on the back
The iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max will reportedly add a telephoto camera and LiDAR sensor for better photo and AR performance, but may cut the 120Hz ProMotion display
