The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 is still years away, but Zelda fans may be placated by the release of a remaster of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
The game was listed on the now-deleted Amazon UK store page (via IGN), which was spotted and screenshot, and later shared by Twitter game news commentator Wario64 The URL included "Legend-Zelda -Skyward-Sword-Switch", clearly indicating what the product listed on the page was
The 2011 Wii title was perhaps the most unique Zelda game until 2017's Breath of the Wild Set on a group of islands above Hyrule, the game depicted a time before all the other games in the series, and had plenty of lore for veteran fans to sink their teeth into
Unfortunately, the game's emphasis on motion controls made it difficult to play, which may be necessary given that not all Switch owners, including those with a Switch Lite, have access to motion controls
Skywalker was not a good fit for the Switch
It has been almost 10 years since Skyward Sword was released, and this year marks the 35th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda Therefore, the time seems ripe for a remaster Last year saw the release of a fantastic remake called "Link's Awakening," so it is clear that Nintendo fans have a desire to revive the Zelda classic
It would also be a great way to pass the time until "Breath of the Wild 2" arrives While this game was teased at E3 2019, we haven't seen anything about it since then Neither the name nor the storyline is certain, just that it appears to be a continuation of the scenario set in the original BotW With Nintendo's major presentation for this year yet to be determined, we hope to see something announced for Skyward Sword before later this year"
