Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra Price just leaked — here's what you pay

The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 price range has been leaked, reconfirming one of the leaks we hoped was untrue

The price of Samsung's new phablet was revealed by MySmartPrice, obtained from the source of the leak, Ishan Agarwal The figures are in Euros, but we can get an idea of the model's price in the UK and US

The following prices seem high when converted, but they are only slightly higher than the European prices of the Galaxy S20 series Also, the conversion in British pounds is probably fairly accurate, but as Agarwal himself warned in a tweet, the prices in US dollars are expected to be lower due to different local taxation

The standard Note 20 will come with 256GB of storage in 4G or 5G; the 4G model will cost €999 ($1,169/£909 equivalent) and the 5G model €1,099 ($1,286/£1,000 equivalent)

As for the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, there are two 5G-enabled versions, 256GB and 512GB These are priced at €1,349 ($1,578/£1,280) and €1,449 ($1,696/£1,319), respectively

There is some bad news, however While earlier rumors revealed that the back of the standard Note 20 would be plastic, Agarwal's leak confirms that both the 4G and 5G versions of the Note 20 will use "Glastic" material

Given the price of the phone, it is an unusual decision for Samsung to abandon the glass back that almost all premium flagships use While we won't know if it actually makes the phone feel worse without actually using it, the idea of a plastic Note 20 is not a pleasant one

Nevertheless, the standard Note 20 is becoming a solid flagship phone, promising a 642-inch display, a triple camera array, a larger battery than the previous model, and a new Snapdragon 865 Plus chipset (US and China)

The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra reportedly offers a 687-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and may offer LTPO technology that can dynamically change the display refresh rate to save battery life The report states Its triple camera array promises a more impressive sensor suite than the standard Note 20, as well as a laser focus sensor

The last part of the leak revealed the price of the Galaxy Birds Live - €189 (£172 or $221 equivalent) These are Samsung's new earbuds, which are supposed to feature active noise cancellation Given that this price is meant to be significantly below Apple's AirPods Pro, Samsung could have a winner on its hands

Both the Galaxy Buds Live and the Galaxy Note 20 series will be announced at Samsung's Galaxy Unpacked on August 5 This should also be a busy keynote event, with the Galaxy Tab S7, Galaxy Z Fold 2, and Galaxy Watch 3 also making their debut
