Samsung's Galaxy Note 20 will likely build on the boxy, rectangular appearance of the Galaxy Note 10
The Galaxy Note 20 concept, courtesy of "digital content creator" Yash Purohit on Twitter, does not differ dramatically from the Galaxy Note 10 Plus design There is still a small punch-hole camera in the top center of the display, and the display itself retains the spacious OLED panel with slightly curved edges that the Note 10 introduced in 2019
The concept renderings show off what looks like a mix of the Note 10 Plus' rear camera array and that of the Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus; the three camera lenses are arranged vertically like the Note 10, but in a rectangular box, and the time-of-flight sensor appears to be in the box
We had hoped that the quad camera array of the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra would be used in the Note 20 concept However, Samsung may keep the S20 Ultra as its main flagship and make the Note 20 Plus an alternative for those who want a larger screen and S-Pen support
Not to be overlooked is the bright purple-blue finish on the back panel, which Purohit expects the Galaxy Note 20 will have a matte finish rather than a multicolor reflective glass panel like the Note 10 Plus This may not sound that impressive, but the punchy hues in the concept images are quite attractive and bold In addition, matte finishes tend not to absorb fingerprints as well as glossy or reflective glass panels
Purohit also added an S Pen to the design that looks similar to the Note 10 This is not necessarily a bad thing, as Samsung's latest smartphone stylus includes smart features such as gesture recognition
Overall, this concept points to the Galaxy Note 20 being an evolution rather than a revolution over the previous model However, with a larger battery, more powerful specs, and improved cameras, the Note 20 should be good enough to satisfy fans of Samsung's larger smartphones, even in the face of the impressive OnePlus 8 Pro
