If you missed out on PlayStation gaming deals on Black Friday and Cyber Monday, don't worry Sony has announced its year-end deals, offering discounts of up to 80% on PS4 and PS5 game software
These deals are already available now in the PlayStation Store (opens in new tab) and will last until December 21 Sony has published a list of games to which the discounts apply on the PlayStation blog, and there are likely to be plenty of deals to be had
Note that the discounts only apply to digital games, which tend to be much more expensive, especially when purchased directly from the console's storefront However, some of these discounts are big enough to save money Compared to the physical versions sold at other retailers, that is
Some of these deals were either already available or were better than what was offered over Black Friday weekend The LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is available at several retailers for $34, but only in the standard edition Sony is offering a deluxe edition with the Character Collection bundle (normally $24) and classic Obi Wan Kenobi for the same $34 (opens in new tab)
Other deals are less impressive Far Cry 6, which dropped to $9 on Black Friday, is on sale for $19 on PS4 and PS5 (opens in new tab)
There are plenty of games, old and new, on sale right now No matter what kind of games you like, you might find something you like on sale You can flip through Sony's rather long list or search the store yourself
Of course, there are still plenty of Cyber Monday deals to be had, game-centric or not, so be sure to check out our Cyber Monday Deals Live blog for the discounts that didn't disappear like Cinderella's carriage at midnight on November 29!
