One Method I Use to Find Black Friday Deals

One Method I Use to Find Black Friday Deals

[Black Friday is already here, with discounts on everything from TVs to appliances to toys. Please visit Tom's Guide's Black Friday information page.

Here's a little trick I use to keep this page (and other Black Friday deals pages) updated and to bring you the best deals possible.

The sole purpose of this site, CamelCamelCamelCamel.com, is to track the prices of things sold on Amazon. Simply enter the URL or name of the item you are interested in, and CamelCamelCamel will show you the price history on Amazon. That way, you can see when the item went on sale and how much its price dropped.

Take this Breville BSB510XL Control Grip Immersion Blender as an example. (Currently, the BSB510XL Immersion Blender is $129 on Amazon, which is not that expensive, but many appliances go on sale on Black Friday, and with CamelCamelCamel, you can see that the price has regularly dropped to $100 in the past, and even $74 CamelCamelCamelCamel shows that in the past, prices have regularly dropped to $100 and even $74.

Another nice thing about CamelCamelCamel is that you can also receive alerts when prices actually drop, so you don't have to constantly monitor the page.

CamelCamelCamel can be used from the website, but it can be made easier by installing a browser extension for Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Opera, or Safari. Once the extension is installed, simply click on the CamelCamelCamel icon on an Amazon product page, and a window will appear showing the price history for that product.

And that's all there is to it. We hope it helps you shop a little smarter and save a little cash this holiday season.

Of course, since this only works on Amazon (and only on the products you want), we also have our own compilation of the best Black Friday TV deals, Black Friday mattress deals, Walmart Black Friday deals, etc. Check it out.
