Before we get a head start on spring, check out the new shows and movies to watch this weekend on Netflix, Apple TV Plus, and other top streaming services

The weekend viewing list is led by two Oscar-nominated films making their subscription streaming debuts: "Poor Things" and "American Fiction" They are also just in time for Sunday's 96th Academy Awards

On the TV side, Guy Ritchie adapts "The Gentlemen" into a series set in London's seedy criminal underworld, and the superhero comedy "Extraordinary" returns for season two Highlights this weekend include

Hollywood's biggest night, the Super Bowl so to speak, is here to honor the best films of the past year Stars will hit the red carpet and Jimmy Kimmel will once again host the event While "Oppenheimer" should take home a slew of trophies, including Best Picture and Best Director, there will also be accolades for "Barbie," "Poor Things," "Killers of the Flower Moon" and "The Holdovers" There will also be a rare opportunity to see performances of all five nominees for Best Song

Guy Ritchie brings his unique vibrancy and style to television in a spin-off of the 2019 film The TV series will focus on new characters within the same London gangster world
