"Lisa Frankenstein," starring Kathryn Newton and Cole Sprouse, revolves around an unlikely romance between a socially outcast teenager (Newton) and the corpse of a Victorian man who died 150 years ago (Sprouse) This odd duo embarks on a journey of self-discovery in search of love, happiness, and lost body parts While the film may have received little response from critics, audiences enthusiastically embraced the film's eccentricities and it became a cult favorite
