Top 10 Prime Video Movies - Here are 3 worth watching now

Prime Video's constantly shifting "Top 10 Most Watched Movies" list is a great starting point when looking for something to watch on the Amazon-owned streaming service

However, just because a movie makes the list does not mean it is worth watching It is not uncommon for low-quality films to make the top 10 For example, "Die Hard 2/Die Harter," despite having the worst audience score on Rotten Tomatoes at 14%, still holds fourth place So, to help you choose which films are worth watching, I've selected three of my favorites from the Prime Video Top 10 as of Tuesday, June 25, at 6 am ET

Below you'll find a gripping historical drama, an intense survival thriller, and a fascinating documentary about one of the greatest athletes in sports history Here are three of the Prime Video Top 10 films to watch first And I'm not going to shut up about this remarkable biographical drama anytime soon It is without a doubt Christopher Nolan's best film ever From Cillian Murphy in the lead role to Robert Downey Jr after "Iron Man," the stellar cast delivers some of the best performances of their careers and reaffirms his immense talent (both deservedly won Oscars)

"Oppenheimer" focuses on the life of J Robert Oppenheimer and explores the Manhattan Project that led to the creation of the first nuclear weapon Rather than presenting this scientific breakthrough as a triumphant achievement, however, Nolan instead lays bare the traumatic aftermath experienced by the theoretical physicist after unleashing an unimaginable weapon of destruction on the world Despite its often bleak subject matter, "Oppenheimer" is tense and vigorous from start to finish, never letting you get carried away It's long, but it goes by quickly

The survival thriller genre is littered with clichéd films that are little more than cheap thrills, but "The Grey" stands apart from them There is a remarkable humanity to this Liam Neeson film, and while it has the expected moments of tension and full-on adrenaline, it succeeds greatly in its quieter, more introspective scenes Of course, it helps immeasurably that a profound actor like Neeson is in fine form, and director Joe Carnahan does a phenomenal job of squeezing every moment of drama out of the film's fun premise

In "The Grey," oil refinery workers are trapped in the Alaskan wilderness after a plane crash With precious few resources to sustain them and the biting cold, the group's leader, John Ottway (Neeson), fights to keep his people alive while enduring one of the harshest environments on earth But subzero temperatures and extreme cold are not enough, and the group must also face off against a pack of hungry gray wolves

The quintessential teen movie and one of the funniest comedies ever made, "Superbad" is a coming-of-age classic that anyone who has experienced awkward adolescence can relate to with embarrassing ease The film features some of the most talented comedic actors of the era, including Jonah Hill, Michael Cera, Seth Rogan, and Bill Hader In addition, Emma Stone, who made her feature film debut in this 2007 film, shines in her limited screen time

This very bawdy comedy begins in the last weeks of high school when two best friends, Seth (Hill) and Evan (Cera), plan to attend a house party as heroes with alcohol They enlist their dorky friend Fogel (Christopher Mintz-Plasse), who goes by the name "McLovin" and has a fake identity, and things go off the rails from there What follows is a raucous and silly journey as the duo tries to make it to the party
