Hulu may be known for its great lineup of TV shows, but it also has a solid library of must-see movies
Like all the best streaming services, Hulu's lineup is always in flux as titles are added and removed, and August 2024 is no different, with several critically acclaimed films coming to Hulu Here is a selection of new films released on Hulu this month
The first of these is the war drama “Woman King,” starring Viola Davis There are also some great films that might make Hulu's best films list, including last year's festival darling, a comedy-drama about a tomb-robbing archaeologist (“La Chimera”), and the Coen brothers' masterful madcap crime spoof (“Raising Arizona”)

Rehabilitated thug-robber Herbert (Nicolas Cage) marries Edwina (Holly Hunter), a policewoman eager to become a mother The two devise a bizarre plan to kidnap one of the quintuplets born to a local businessman, but the child's rich father sends in a bounty hunter (Randall Cobb) and all hell breaks loose
