If you're looking for something new to watch on Amazon Prime Video, the list of the top 10 most-watched movies on the streaming service is a great indicator of which movies are getting the most attention from fellow subscribers
However, just because a movie ranks high on this list does not mean it is an indicator of quality For example, “Jackpot! has been #1 on Prime Video for the past few weeks, but it's a pretty bad film to say the least (it scored a low 31% on Rotten Tomatoes) So, in order to ensure that I can pick out the movies worth watching on Prime Video, I've chosen three of the top 10 movies to watch first

Although Michael Bay's “Transformers” series ultimately went completely off the rails in favor of flashy CGI over character and story, this sci-fi action The first film in the series is still very enjoyable (and, of course, still quite cheesy) It also feels oddly appropriate to watch it now, since the song “What I've Done” by Linkin Park has become synonymous with the film thanks to its use in the closing credits, and the American rock band has only recently reunited after a lengthy hiatus

Earlier this year, “The Beekeeper” taught me a valuable lesson about the dangers of assumptions, and before its January release, I was hoping that this action thriller, Jason Statham's already poofy I was wrong This David Ayer-directed film is ridiculous at best It is self-aware enough to get away with a questionable script, and the action scenes are quite exhilarating
In The Beekeeper, Statham plays Adam Clay, a former member of an intelligence group known as The Beekeepers Since his retirement, he has led a simple life tending to a hive of bees (it is never explained why Clay is so obsessed with bees), but when a close friend falls victim to a phishing scam and commits suicide in the aftermath, Clay steps out of the shadows in a quest for revenge This quest for revenge brings him into contact with the head of the US government
