"Why him?""It's a relic of a simpler era. When all you needed to do a romantic comedy job was a glamorous movie star, some crude comedies and people would go buy tickets and make some popcorn into scarves.
Fortunately, you shouldn't get into this movie expecting a comedy classic, so you can watch this movie without buying a ticket. But after James Franco's tech mogul Laird Mayhew tries to get the approval of Ned Fleming (Brian Cranston), you might notice that Laird has had a good time, 111 minutes later, so that he can marry Ned's daughter (Zoe Decch).

If you like more beloved comedies, you can ask "Why him?"The film stars Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade and Rob Schneider as a group of middle school friends reunited 30 years after the death of a school basketball coach.
It's as deep as this movie gets. It's shamelessly a ride for laughter, and along with some of the funniest comedy actors ever, it achieves its goal. If you like Sandler's movies, you probably like "Grownups" and you might also like "Grownups15," which is also ranked in the top 2 on Hulu.

Don't confuse this with "Christmas at the Ranch" in 2021."For starters, that movie is on Peacock, so you can't even find it on Hulu.
But more importantly, they're just different movies. 2024's Christmas on The Ranch will feature Jade Harlow as Christina Campbell, a daytime talk show host in Chicago. Christina has left Chicago to head to New York, where she struggles to find love on her own, despite being a relationship expert.
Just before Christmas, Christina was stuck on a ranch outside Chicago when a horse belonging to rancher Corey Henderson (Houston Line) escaped and crashed her car into Christina. Will Christina unexpectedly find love with this single Father rancher? Perhaps, but if you like holiday rom-com, you already know it and are going to go to see anyway.
