Google will be taking the covers off the Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G in a little over a week and has a better idea of the colors that Mountain View's next phones will offer
Black, white, and green variants of both phones have appeared on the websites of several different European retailers, as reported by Droid Life
More Computers has the Pixel 5 available in white under the model name GA01986-UK and a black version listed as GA01316-UK Interestingly, Germany's Computer Universe lists the GA01986 as well, but calls it green instead of white
The Pixel 4a 5G can also be found on More Computers as model number GA01946-UK in white, and carrier BT has a black Pixel 4a 5G (with photo) called GA01311-UK according to BT's website, the Pixel 4a 5G will ship on October 15
All Pixel 5 and 4a 5G models are listed as having 128GB of internal storage Given what we know about past Pixel phones, there will almost certainly be no support for microSD cards to expand capacity any further
As for pricing, Google long ago confirmed that the Pixel 4a 5G price will not exceed $500, and the price of £499 mentioned by BT is not news However, we do not know how much Google intends to charge for the Pixel 5
More Computers has priced the Pixel 5 at £615 and the Pixel 4a 5G at £515; £15 will likely be collected as tax, and as some sources have already suggested, the Pixel 5 will be $600 It is believed that the price of the Pixel 5G will be $600
Google will hold an event on September 30 to announce not only the next Pixel phone, but perhaps a new Nest-branded product and a new Chromecast dongle Samsung will unveil a cheaper version of the Galaxy S20 called the Galaxy S20 FE on September 23, OnePlus will unveil the OnePlus 8T on October 14, and not to mention a small company called Apple will announce the iPhone 12 series in October
