The Google Pixel 5 should beat the iPhone 12 on at least one important real-world speed test

Both the iPhone and Pixel are capable of transcription, both on the device and by cloud assistants However, the Pixel phone allows users to download the full transcription system (but only the English version), so full quality transcription is possible offline, solidifying its superiority over Apple's offering

The Pixel 5, like the iPhone 12, is expected to arrive this fall; the Pixel 5 will come in only one size and is believed to have a mid-range chipset, while the iPhone 12 will come in four different models with three sizes to choose from and the A14 Bionic chip, another powerful CPU, is likely to be included

However, the Pixel line has always been speedy, and that includes the speed of the Google Assistant versus Siri, as Google has put more capability in its devices; in Siri's case, there is a delay due to the need to rely on the cloud
