When Google stops selling Pixel3, the launch of Google Pixel4a appears to be imminent

Saying goodbye to the Pixel 3, Google has removed the no-longer-in-stock Pixel 3 from its site However, we hope this means there is room for the Pixel 4a

As a Google official explained to AndroidPolice (via GSMArena), the Google Store is no longer offering the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL because they have sold out Now only the Pixel 3a series and Pixel 4 series are available for purchase This move is not that surprising since this coincides with the time last year when Google stopped stocking the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL

The Pixel 3 is still available elsewhere, including Best Buy and B&H Photo, but if Google itself stops selling it, it will likely be out of stock elsewhere soon as well the Pixel 4, despite some issues, is a very intelligent flagship smartphone

The removal of the Pixel 3 from the Google Store may suggest that the Pixel 4a is imminent At least until the coronavirus outbreak, we have been expecting Google's next mid-range device to appear in the first half of 2020

Featuring a similar rear design to the Pixel 4, but with an all-new punch-hole display on the front, the Pixel 4a will likely offer toned-down performance in a less luxurious plastic casing However, this upcoming mid-range smartphone could feature an AMOLED screen, a stock version of Android 10, and a single rear camera backed by the same great post-processing software found on other Pixel phones

The Pixel 4a will likely be available for about the same $400 as the Pixel 3a This is good news given that Apple is also said to be announcing a mid-range iPhone 9 in the next few days, targeting the same price point
