A leak in Beats Studio Pro has revealed key specs, including the AirPods Max

[iOS 165 beta version seems to have revealed that detail Now 9to5Mac claims to have obtained a complete spec sheet for the upcoming device, revealing what appears to be a full list of specs

The site claims that the specs come from sources that have proven reliable in the past and shows off a bunch of major improvements to the Beats Studio Pro It seems to start with the inclusion of two custom 40mm drivers that are said to offer "nearly zero distortion at high volumes," offering an 80% improvement over the Beats Studio3

Besides, the Studio Pro has a "powerful yet balanced sound profile and is crafted to bring out the subtle details of what you are listening to, with an integrated digital processor that can optimize the final frequency response," according to the report Along with Apple audio features such as active noise cancellation, Transparency Mode, and Spacial Audio (with Dolby Atmos support)

This Spatial Audio is also said to include Dynamic Head Tracking and Personalized Spatial Audio, both of which are found in the AirPods Pro, AirPods 3, and AirPods Max Beats Studio Pro is also said to feature Adaptive ANC and Transparency Mode, but it does not appear to have the new Adaptive Audio that is currently only available on the AirPods Pro 2

9to5Mac claims that this is because the Beats Studio Pro will not feature an Apple chip like the AirPods Pro 2's H2, but instead use Beats' custom chip that provides better support for Android and iOS devices

This means that Android users will have access to a variety of Google-made features such as Google Fast Pair, Audio Switch, and Find My Device network; the Beats Android app will allow users to customize their headphones and updates more easily Apple users will likewise get automatic updates, one-touch pairing, Hey Siri support, and compatibility with Apple's Find My network

In terms of design, Beats seems to be aiming for something similar to the Studio3, with an emphasis on lightness and comfort for "immersing yourself in the music" In fact, the can is said to weigh 917 ounces, which is noticeably lighter than the 136-ounce AirPods Max The design is also set to include UltraPlush leather ear cushions and metal sliders for a more flexible, user-adjustable fit

Physical hardware will include side buttons for switching between listening modes These modes are said to include a Beats Signature profile for music, an Entertainment profile for an enhanced movie and game playing experience, and a Conversation profile for voice calls and podcasts Wired connectivity is available via USB-C and 35mm, in case you still have a device with a headphone jack

Battery life is expected to reach 40 hours with ANC and Transparency disabled and 24 hours with one of the two turned on In addition, with FastFuel charging, the device can be used for up to 4 hours after only 10 minutes of connection By contrast, AirPods Max can be used for up to 20 hours in either of these two modes, with only 15 hours of playback on a 5-minute charge

9to5Mac's sources claim that the headphones are "imminent" and that retailers are already preparing to begin shipping This is supported by documents recently filed with the FCC Preliminary retail listings also suggest that it will cost $349, the same as the Beats Studio3, and will come with a "newly designed carry case"

We will report further information on the Beats Studio Pro as it becomes available
