"Monkey Man" is the directorial debut of Dev Patel, a multi-talented man who not only commands behind the camera but also stars in this violent revenge thriller Patel plays the unnamed protagonist, who is moonlighting as a fighter in an underground fighting ring However, he is still haunted by childhood trauma and is bent on revenge against the city's elite leaders who continue to victimize the poor and powerless
