If you're not a fan of scary If so, Netflix has a sizzling new romantic drama from “Erin Brockovich” screenwriter Susanna Grant, starring Laura Dern and Liam Hemsworth Dern plays Catherine, a failing novelist who is in a rut after breaking up with her ex-boyfriend, a sculptor who has survived cancer A sunny retreat to Morocco seems like the perfect cure for writer's block

There she meets Owen (Hemsworth), a young man on a retreat with his girlfriend, and sparks fly despite the age difference After a few chance encounters, their friendship blossoms into something greater, and a life-altering love affair begins While unlikely to bring any new developments to the story, “Lonely Planet” is a gentle drama with two charming lead actors and an equally gorgeous setting that will be more than enough to keep viewers on the edge of their seats

This time with a new mystery thriller from “Topside” directors Logan George and Celine Held, set in the swampy rural town of Karnack, Texas, which is rocked by the disappearance of an 8-year-old girl Her sister-in-law Ellie (Eliza Scanlen) is determined to get to the bottom of it, which leads her to cross paths with Paris (Dylan O'Brien), a young local man still reeling from the death of his mother who had a seizure while driving and fell into Lake Caddo

As strange things begin to happen, their investigation reveals shocking facts about the lake and long-buried secrets While much of the plot is kept under wraps, it is clear from the trailer that there are sci-fi and time-lapse elements Also, given that it is a Shyamalan film, there are bound to be plenty of twists and turns
