“Fromm” will always be at the top of my list because it is one of my favorite dark thriller shows The show is about a small town that has lost its way The town is plagued by a terrifying supernatural force that appears at night and threatens the lives of its residents At the center of this story is the town's leader, Boyd (Harold Perrineau) His character plays a pivotal role as they try to make sense of the danger and mystery surrounding them
This excellent show delves deeply into the psychological and emotional toll of their predicament Episode after episode, we are drawn deeper into the chilling atmosphere of a town where every choice could mean the difference between life and death
Even better, Season 3 just premiered on MGM Plus (not yet available on Prime Video) Read my thoughts on “Fromm” Season 3 after watching the entire series

If you're interested in modern British royal drama and political intrigue, “A Very Royal Scandal” should be the next thing you watch on Prime Video Critics at Rotten Tomatoes have noted that the show delves deeply into the infamous “Newsnight” interview that changed Prince Andreu's public role forever
The show dramatizes the infamous 2019 BBC Newsnight interview between Prince Andrew and journalist Emily Maitlis In three parts, with Michael Sheen as Prince Andrew and Ruth Wilson as Maitlis, the show covers the events leading up to the interview, in which Lord York attempted to clear his name amid allegations surrounding his relationship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein
“A Very Royal Scandal” explores what ultimately led to Prince Andreu's decision to step down from public service It also depicts the behind-the-scenes tension as Maitlis struggles to secure the interview, as well as Prince Andreou's reputation and its impact on the royal family

It wouldn't be right not to include the show that's currently in the No 1 spot (though that doesn't necessarily make it any better) Right now, “The Lord of the Rings” Season 2: Season 2 of “The Lord of the Rings: The Ring of Kings” is Prime's most popular show, continuing the rich history and complex story of Middle-earth
The series is set in the second age of Middle-earth, thousands of years before JRR Tolkien's “The Hobbit” and “The Lord of the Rings” It depicts the rise of evil by the dark lord Sauron (Charlie Vickers), the creation of the Ring of Power, and the alliances and conflicts among various races, including elves, dwarves, and humans
The destruction of Numenor and the introduction of important characters such as Galadriel (Morfydd Clarke) and Elrond (Robert Aramayo) The film aims to develop Tolkien's lore while introducing new stories and characters
